    Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Local Bus Fare Cap Ends on 31 October

    From 1 November, bus fares will follow the national £3 cap, with some routes charging less.

    Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Local Bus Fare Cap Ends on 31 October

    Since January 2025, a local fare cap has helped keep bus travel affordable across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The scheme is set to end on 31 October.

    From 1 November, fares will align with the national £3 cap. Passengers will pay no more than £3 on most routes, although some services may have lower fares.

    Residents are advised to check their bus operator’s website for exact fare information before travelling.
